Description
As Senior Integrated Marketing Strategy & Planning Manager at Deliveroo, you will identify France's priority marketing moments and translate global direction into a clear, integrated marketing plan.
Using business performance, consumer insights, and knowledge of the French market, you will recommend what to prioritise, what to adopt from global campaigns, and what to adapt to maximise local impact.
Your responsibilities will include:
Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Analysing business performance, consumer insights, and market trends to recommend France's priority marketing moments.
- Translating global marketing direction into an integrated France marketing plan, identifying what to adopt, adapt, or challenge based on local business needs and market specificities.
- Developing clear, evidence-based recommendations on priorities and trade-offs, balancing expected impact, investment, and available resources.
- Building a strong rationale for local adaptations and influencing global stakeholders when the French market requires a different approach.
Campaign Orchestration & Stakeholder Management
- Leading campaign kick-offs and aligning local and global stakeholders around clear objectives, responsibilities, and timelines.
- Challenging functional recommendations constructively, asking the right questions to ensure proposed media plans, creative concepts, and campaign choices meet France's objectives.
- Simplifying complex, cross-functional topics, clarifying dependencies, and facilitating decisions to keep initiatives moving.
- Anticipating delivery risks, resolving coordination challenges, and ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and to the agreed brief.
Marketing Plan Consolidation & Executive Communication
- Consolidating the France marketing plan into a clear, executive-level overview of key priorities, campaign choices, local adaptations, and expected business impact.
- Writing concise, insight-led strategic memos articulating the rationale behind France's marketing recommendations, key trade-offs, and decisions requiring alignment or approval.
- Building a compelling, evidence-based narrative connecting France's business priorities and market specificities with global marketing strategy.
- Presenting and defending France's marketing recommendations to global executives, ensuring local choices are understood and enabling informed decision-making.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in integrated marketing, marketing strategy, campaign planning, or marketing programme management.
- Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate data and consumer insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong critical thinking and sound judgement: able to challenge assumptions, ask the right questions, and assess whether proposed marketing choices support business objectives, without needing to be the technical expert in every discipline.
- Ability to balance global consistency with relevant local adaptation, using clear evidence and constructive influencing skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and align teams without direct authority.
- Strong organisational skills, pragmatism, and ownership, with a focus on prioritisation and delivery.
- Fluency in French and English, with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders in an international environment.
