Description
The Employee Relations Manager will report to the Employee Relations Lead and support the line management and mentoring of the Employee Relations (ER) team members. The post holder will provide support to managers and staff within the Trust and contribute to the development and delivery of tools and interventions to improve management understanding and their capabilities in all ER-related matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert advice on employment relations issues
- Leading and supporting the management of complex employee relations cases
- Developing management capability through training, coaching, and early intervention approaches
- Building effective relationships with Trade Union representatives and key stakeholders
- Leading service improvement initiatives and supporting the development of employee relations policies, procedures, and guidance
The post holder must have experience in a senior employee relations or HR advisory role, experience managing complex employee relations casework, and excellent knowledge of employment law, workforce policy, and employee relations best practice.
