Description
As a QA/QC Manager, you will support the Owner's Engineer team in overseeing quality assurance and quality control for the Fujairah IWP project.
Responsibilities:
- Review and monitor the EPC Contractor's quality management arrangements for design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with the site supervision team to monitor construction quality, site inspections, material receiving inspections, testing activities, and closure of punch items.
- Identify quality concerns, non-conformities, and recurring issues, and track corrective actions through to close-out.
- Maintain clear QA/QC records, registers, and reporting inputs to support monthly project reporting.
- Coordinate with discipline engineers, HSE personnel, document control, and the EPC Contractor to support consistent implementation of project quality requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in large industrial or infrastructure projects.
- At least 5 years of experience in a QA/QC Manager or similar leadership role.
- Proven experience in SWRO desalination or large-scale water treatment projects.
- Strong knowledge of desalination processes, equipment, and construction practices.
- Experience working on projects in the Middle East, preferably UAE.
- Proficiency in project planning and management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Relevant certifications such as PMP or NEBOSH (preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
