Description
Spire Bushey Hospital is seeking a Bank Chef to join their established team on an ad-hoc bank basis. As a Bank Chef, you will deliver high levels of food and service throughout all areas of hospitality, supporting the head/senior chef in all aspects of the kitchen and maintaining standards.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high levels of food and service throughout all areas of hospitality
- Support the head/senior chef in all aspects of the kitchen and maintaining standards
- Maintain a safe working environment for all staff and customers
- Ensure all HACCP is adhered to
- Ensure efficient consistent delivery of food throughout all hospitality
- Foster and maintain a culture of assistance between kitchen and server staff and all departments within Spire Healthcare
- Lead by example and ensure consistency of all food production and presentation
Requirements:
- NVQ level 2 or higher preferred
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Relevant certificates or willingness to undertake specialist training in specific areas
- Knowledge and experience in a similar establishment
- Professional self-starter able to work unaided
- Highly organised and capable of working in a busy, fast-paced environment
