Description
We are looking for an Operations Expert to investigate, architect, design, and recommend backup and recovery solutions that leverage DB standards, with a strong focus on cyber security and cyber resiliency.
You will provide exceptional backup services, prioritizing simplicity, and act as a subject matter expert for Backup Cyber Recovery Support globally. Your responsibilities will include:
- Investigating, troubleshooting, architecting, designing, and recommending backup and recovery solutions with a strong focus on cyber security and cyber resiliency
- Identifying, defining, communicating, and implementing improvement plans to ensure and maintain the robustness of our infrastructures around the globe
- Providing technical expertise and leadership to backup and cyber security teams globally
- Building and deploying backup infrastructure, including managing backup repositories
- Demonstrating exceptional troubleshooting skills for backup, tape, and SAN storage issues
- Proficiently managing critical issues within the backup infrastructure
- Providing engineering solutions to solve new and existing operational challenges
- Working independently and actively coaching and developing peers
- Driving appropriate engagement and response from key vendors
- Adhering to established company processes
- Utilizing automation tools for efficient backup processes
- Developing backup standards and best practices to ensure adherence to industry standards, security regulations, and compliance requirements
- Collaborating with platform and application teams to address backup-related gaps
