Description
Join Cisco's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Center of Excellence (CoE) in Bangalore. The Global FP&A CoE supports regional and global Finance organizations through performance reporting, business analysis, forecasting, planning, and decision support.
As a Financial Analyst, you will support periodic financial performance reporting, business metric tracking, forecasting, planning, and decision analysis. You will partner closely with Finance Business Partners and business stakeholders to provide timely, accurate, and consistent financial information.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Generating financial reports, business analyses, and models based on business requirements
- Preparing and distributing timely and accurate financial information to support business planning, forecasting, and decision-making
- Taking ownership of ongoing reporting activities, including validation, documentation, and communication of insights to business partners
- Performing scenario analysis and financial planning to support business decisions, approvals, and key initiatives
- Supporting organizational expense and headcount reporting, bookings, revenue and margin analysis, and OPEX management activities
You will collaborate closely with the Global FP&A CoE, Finance Business Partners, Regional Sales and Services teams, Business Entity Finance teams, and cross-functional and regional stakeholders across Cisco.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, analytical, and forward-thinking Finance professional with strong business-partnering skills and a focus on delivering results. You should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred qualifications include experience working within a large multinational organization, experience with Excel Macros and automation, database knowledge, and experience working with large financial datasets.
