Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Engineer to join our Automation NPI department at Ajax Systems. As part of this role, you will be responsible for assembling testing equipment, calibrating and firmware updates, and collaborating with mechanical and electronics developers.
Key responsibilities:
- Assemble and test equipment for production, interacting with mechanical and electronics developers;
- Provide design assistance in resolving issues that arise during mass production;
- Maintain and improve existing test rigs, fixtures, and other non-standard equipment;
- Manage a fleet of 3D printers and process internal orders for printing.
Requirements:
- Experience in assembling various equipment, including medium and small-sized devices;
- Basic proficiency in SolidWorks;
- Knowledge of materials and operations used in designing non-standard equipment;
- Technical education.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with 3D printing and printer maintenance;
- Understanding of analog electronics testing methods;
- Experience with prototype verification and troubleshooting.
