Description
The selected candidate will assist Quality Management with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and implementation of the Quality Management Plan (QMP) for the Future Flight Service Program (FFSP).
The role involves:
- Implementing and administering the FFSP QA Program
- Supporting operational needs of the program
- Ensuring adherence to FAA Orders, internal processes, and the QMP
- Conducting audits of air traffic services
- Serving as a team member for gathering, reporting, and processing aircraft accidents and incidents
- Maintaining statistical data and reports
- Supporting training development as a subject matter expert
- Developing and delivering computer-based and classroom instruction
- Creating documentation describing policies, procedures, and reference materials
- Participating in negotiations and execution of Letters of Agreement
- Conducting research and providing formal interpretations
- Identifying program and system deficiencies and proposing corrective actions
- Providing specifications to engineering on user interface improvements
- Interacting and coordinating with various agencies
- Participating in an on-call rotation schedule with the Quality Team
The position requires:
- BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master's degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience
- Recent FAA Pilot Weather Briefing Certification
- Currency on a minimum of two Air Traffic Flight Service operational positions
- Working knowledge of FAA Orders 7110.10, 7110.65, 7930.2, and 7210.3
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Excellent team and project leadership skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex issues to a diverse audience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and record-keeping
Preferred qualifications include experience in delivering classroom training, familiarity with the FFSP Quality Management Plan, and working knowledge of ISD concepts.
The pay range for this position is $92,300.00 - $166,850.00.
