Description
We are seeking a Bank Registered Nurse to join our team at Apple Mews in Armagh, Northern Ireland.
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key part in the recovery of our residents, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework
- Assessing, planning and delivering nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes
- Accurately observing and engaging with patients to assess need and evaluate progress
- Monitoring and reviewing Nursing Care plans
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) with 6 to 12 months of post-registration experience, holding an active NMC registration and having successfully completed a preceptorship programme. You will also need to demonstrate sound knowledge of NMC guidelines, standards, and professional practices, along with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
