Description
Vattenfall, a leading European energy company, is seeking a Service Manager Level 1 SCADA & Power Plant Control to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient delivery of SCADA and Power Plant Control services supporting renewable-energy operations.
As a Service Manager, you will combine hands-on SCADA engineering and incident resolution with functional leadership of a dedicated service team. You will prioritize the team's work, coordinate suppliers and support functions, and drive continual improvement while meeting agreed service levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing service scope and support arrangements
- Delivering and maintaining SCADA and Power Plant Control services
- Monitoring service performance and reporting on service levels
- Diagnosing and resolving incidents, and implementing corrective actions
- Managing backlog and delivery planning
- Coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders
- Ensuring cybersecurity, regulatory, and operational requirements are met
Requirements:
- Relevant bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation, or control engineering
- Several years of hands-on experience in SCADA or industrial OT engineering and operational support
- Experience in service management, hands-on SCADA engineering, and SCADA and OT environments
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
