Description
We are seeking an experienced Associate with expertise in environmental acoustics and strong client liaison skills to join our team.
You would be required to work on our larger and more technically challenging projects, completing acoustics deliverables, mentor junior staff and contributing to the team’s technical advancements and successes.
Our projects are varied, giving you the opportunity to work across sectors including residential, renewable energy, commercial and industrial, sports and leisure and infrastructure. Experience in these sectors is advantageous.
The WSP acoustics team is amongst the largest and most well respected in the UK. We are regular recipients of industry awards and our leading experts regularly present at conferences and produce cutting edge research papers and guidance documents.
Responsibilities
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification, and corporate membership of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA / FIOA).
- Demonstrable experience in, and a thorough understanding of, environmental acoustics.
- A high level of knowledge and skills in project management, effective communication of technical information, commercial acumen and health and safety awareness.
- An enthusiastic, energetic outlook and willingness to learn, with a social and team spirited attitude.
