We are seeking an experienced Norwegian Linguist Reviewer to join our global network of linguistic professionals and contribute to a high-impact language project that shapes how people interact with AI-powered content worldwide.
The successful candidate will evaluate lists of synonyms and related phrases for accuracy, appropriateness, and naturalness. They will identify linguistic errors, awkward phrasing, or incorrect usage and suggest corrections. The goal is to provide insightful linguistic feedback to improve language quality and consistency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating lists of synonyms and related phrases for accuracy and naturalness
- Identifying linguistic errors and suggesting corrections
- Generating improved or alternative synonyms that better match intended meanings
- Providing insightful linguistic feedback to improve language quality and consistency
- Collaborating with project managers and fellow linguists to meet quality standards and deadlines
Requirements:
- Background in linguistics, translation, copyediting, or related fields
- Proficiency in English and Norwegian
- Strong knowledge of synonyms, semantics, and contextual meaning
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow linguistic guidelines
- Previous experience with linguistic QA or content reviewing is a plus
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently
