Spire Manchester Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our dynamic and experienced hospitality team working on an as and when basis to help cover sickness and annual leave in our team.
As Catering Assistant, you will be responsible to assist in the preparation and delivery of a high standard of food and beverage service to patients, visitors, consultants and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation, presentation and service of food and beverages
- Serve food to staff, consultants, visitors and patients in the restaurant and wards
- Engage with patients to raise awareness of food and beverage services
- Take orders and adhere to special dietary requirements
- Maintain stock control and hygiene standards
- Undertake general cleaning and washing up duties
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a catering role
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Excellent customer care skills
- Ability to work without supervision
- Caring and sympathetic
- Ability to work evenings and possibly some weekends
- Able to work flexible hours
