Description
We are seeking a junior lawyer to join our Restructuring & Insolvency practice at Freshfields in Amsterdam.
At Freshfields, we work on complex and high-profile restructurings and insolvencies, both nationally and cross-border. We advise companies in financial difficulties, banks, and investors, and litigate strategic insolvency and financing issues where necessary. Our Restructuring & Insolvency practice combines legal expertise with economic reality, working closely with colleagues from Finance and Litigation, as well as our international network.
The practice is located at the intersection of transactions and litigation and is part of the GMAC practice, which has over 500 lawyers worldwide. Freshfields has a strong market position in various areas, including banking, leveraged financings, restructuring, and insolvency, and structured finance.
As a stagiaire, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of our Amsterdam banking, structured, and restructuring and insolvency practices. You will work in an international environment where you can learn and grow.
Your Profile
- Completed Master's degree in Law with a Civil Effect;
- Excellent command of Dutch and English;
- Strong analytical skills and a team player mentality;
- Self-motivated and driven;
- Eager to make a meaningful contribution to the practice;
- 'Excellent, and not too serious'.
