Description
We are seeking a System Test Automation Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As a System Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing test strategies, testing, and automating new features and functionalities for the HPE Alletra MP X1000 Storage solution.
Responsibilities:
- Design test scenarios for new features and enhancements of the storage solution
- Analyze the system design and determine the testing and automation activities required
- Write and execute complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portions of the application
- Develop high-quality automation scripts to cover various test scenarios
- Lead a project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced testing partners
- Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding testing and automation status
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- Typically 5+ years of experience
- Proficiency in Python programming/automation
- Strong fundamental understanding of enterprise-level storage solutions
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
