Description
We are seeking a Station Technician to join our team at Vattenfall Services Nordic AB. As a Station Technician, you will work with various customers, including private and municipal energy companies, industries, and other clients such as Trafikverket. Your tasks will include maintenance of electrical equipment, repairs and installations of substation equipment, troubleshooting, and construction of new facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance on electrical equipment such as transformers, switches, and disconnectors
- Carry out repairs and installations of substation equipment
- Troubleshoot and perform routine checks on substation equipment
- Construct new facilities as assigned by a project manager
Qualifications:
- High school education or higher in electrical engineering or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of work experience as a station technician, industrial electrician, electrician, electrical technician, signal technician, or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- B driver's license required due to travel requirements
- Fluent Swedish speaking and writing skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the contracting industry
- Experience interpreting and analyzing data from tests on substation equipment
- Experience working with measurement equipment for maintenance and apparatus
- BE driver's license
