Senior Systems Engineer

As a Senior Systems Engineer on the Maneuver Dominance team, you’ll be the technical authority responsible for bringing a next-generation autonomous Group 5 Rotorcraft from concept to reality.

Responsibilities

• Own System Definition: Define the system end-to-end, including its behavior, interfaces, and architecture.
• Maintain Technical Baseline(s): Enforce configuration control, requirements traceability, and risk management across the system lifecycle.
• Own Test Planning, Execution, and Validation: Define the technical test approach, pass/fail criteria, and test procedures needed to prove the system meets operational requirements.
• Lead Milestone and Gate reviews: Own the technical content and outcome of System Requirements Reviews, Conceptual Design Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, and Test Readiness Reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 6+ years in systems engineering on complex hardware and software vehicles.
• Experience owning requirements and interface baselines across multiple subsystem teams.
• Experience planning and executing verification campaigns on physical hardware.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience architecture full-rotorcraft systems, including hybrid/electric powertrains on high-performance Group4/5 Tactical UAS.
• Familiar with Model-based Product Line Engineering (MBPLE) and ISO 26262.
• Experience and familiar with relevant testing MIL-STDs such as MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-461/464.
