Senior Product Test Engineer, Intel Systems Manufacturing

We are looking for a Senior Product Test Engineer to support test equipment deployment across various manufacturing sites. You will work with the organisation to identify gaps in test coverage, perform root cause analysis on failed products, and implement changes to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end product test strategy from concept through production launch.
• Deploy, commission, and improve automated test systems for high-volume manufacturing.
• Design custom test fixtures, tooling, and interfaces for product validation and production testing.
• Collaborate with board designers to define custom interface boards and test access points.
• Define and optimise structural and functional test strategies.
• Perform root cause analysis on field and manufacturing failures.
• Leverage test data analytics to identify trends and drive yield improvement.
• Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and user documentation.
• Work with contract manufacturers to replicate and validate test capability.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields OR 10+ years of advanced knowledge.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing test or hardware/system integration.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers on PCBA and electronic assembly testing.
• Proficiency with electronics test equipment.
• Hands-on experience with board-level communication interfaces.
• Familiarity with Python, LabVIEW, and/or MATLAB.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Strong root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to remote sites.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, and NixOS.
• Experience with test automation, PCBA design, and mechanical design.
• Experience supporting RF production testing, EW systems, or wireless/communications hardware.
