Senior Analyst

The Real Estate Strategy and Planning team at Salesforce is seeking a Senior Analyst to shape the company's global office portfolio evolution. The successful candidate will be the team's analytical engine, turning portfolio, workforce, occupancy, and market data into insights that drive metro and country portfolio strategies. Using AI tools and modern analytics platforms, the Senior Analyst will build dashboards, scenarios, and interactive materials to help leaders make faster, better-informed real estate decisions.

Core Responsibilities & Scope

• Analyze portfolio, lease, headcount, hiring forecast, occupancy, and utilization data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Build the fact base for key metros and help develop options to consolidate, expand, relocate, or hold.
• Support country-level strategies with footprint benchmarks, cost and occupancy profiles, and long-range planning inputs.
• Model real estate supply vs. demand, track critical dates and space requirements, and flag gaps or surplus early.
• Build and run portfolio scenarios, and provide data inputs to Strategic Finance for financial modeling and to Transactions for deal planning.
• Build and maintain dashboards and interactive tools covering portfolio KPIs.
• Use AI tools and platforms to automate data analysis, surface occupancy and utilization trends faster, and speed up scenario and presentation work.
• Gather market, benchmark, and competitive insights using third-party real estate and occupancy data platforms.
• Turn analysis into clear, exec-ready decks, summaries, and interactive materials, and support project approval requests with proper documentation.
• Respond quickly and accurately to analysis requests from leadership and partners.

Minimum Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in real estate strategy, analytics, consulting, FP&A, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and data skills, including advanced Excel and hands-on use of BI and AI tools.
• Experience supporting scenario analysis and business modeling for strategic decisions.
• Strong PowerPoint and storytelling skills, and the ability to turn data into a clear point of view for senior audiences.
• High attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy while managing competing priorities.
• Proactive self-starter who adapts to shifting priorities and works well across teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Corporate real estate or workplace planning experience.
• Experience with third-party real estate and occupancy data platforms.
• SQL or other data tools, and experience building interactive or AI-powered tools.
• Experience with multi-country or global portfolios.
• Familiarity with Salesforce products such as Tableau and Slack.
