Senior Analyst

The Senior Analyst will be part of the Risk and Compliance team within the Pricing and Reference Services, focusing on supporting operational risk, audits, internal controls, issue management, and business continuity initiatives.

The role will collaborate closely with central risk teams within LSEG to ensure the business unit meets LSEG policy requirements and risk initiatives. The Senior Analyst will manage ad-hoc projects and data analysis relating to the quality program.

Responsibilities

• Support all core risk activities, including risk control assessments, issue management, external assurance, control testing, and vendor due diligence
• Assist in control testing, including obtaining evidence and challenging information provided to support the control design and operating effectiveness
• Support the reporting of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Control Indicators (KCIs) to assist in risk reporting
• Analyze and interpret data to provide regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders
• Support the end-to-end delivery of SOC1 audit and other audits by coordinating audit activities across internal stakeholders and external auditors
• Track audit requests, evidence submissions, recertification activities, and due dates
• Communicate effectively with management and cross-functional stakeholders on findings and ongoing issues

Qualification Requirements

• 2+ years of Ops risk, compliance, audit, or controls-related work in financial services or data vendor
• A bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant certification with applicable experience
• Knowledge of financial markets data with demonstrated ability to analyze data sets efficiently
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with teams across the firm
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI

Desirable

• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC
• Experience in programming in Python, SQL, and other data languages
• Previous IT Audit, 2nd line Technology Risk, or 1st line technology risk assurance in financial services

The anticipated base salary for this position is $71,700 - $119,500.
