Manager, Collateral Management

Wealthsimple is seeking a Manager, Collateral Management to report to the Senior Manager of Cash & Collateral Management. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to build out collateral management capabilities for existing products and prepare for new product launches.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day collateral processes with a focus on meeting daily collateral calls and supporting treasury money movements
• Overseeing and implementing robust risk mitigation strategies
• Managing collateral sources and uses, and contributing to the implementation of an optimization engine
• Designing and implementing collateral management procedures for new products and initiatives
• Working with stakeholders to forecast and anticipate growth in collateral requirements
• Maintaining and building strong relationships with counterparties
• Problem-solving and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
• Building processes, establishing metrics, and standing up a structure that provides visibility into holistic collateral needs
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a collateral management, treasury operations, or securities finance role, with direct experience working with Clearing House collateral. Strong problem-solving, data analysis, organization, and communication skills are required.
