Financial Data Analyst

We are seeking a Financial Data Analyst to join our team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating financial data in our databases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Major Responsibilities:

• Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using database and financial knowledge.
• Ensure data accuracy, timeliness and completeness are maintained as per company standards.
• Develop expertise in database and financial knowledge through continuous learning and development.
• Maximize usage of available tools/support to best of advantage to maintain/improve content quality during daily operations.
• Adhere to dynamic process/MoW changes, data operations standards and current data policies & procedures.
• Responsible for delivering high productivity and quality data as per expected performance standards.
• Proactively identify, escalate and resolve data problems.
• Communicate & liaise with internal and external departments for resolution of data queries as per established process.
• Test new database/application releases where appropriate, providing expert user feedback.

Required skills and experience:

• Good understanding of accounting concepts.
• Ability to interpret the correlation between financial statements.
• Knowledge of IFRS GAAP, experience in Financial markets.
• Experience in doing deep research and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using Outlook, Excel, Teams.
• Quick learner and adaptable.
• Good communication skills – written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work in different shifts, including night shifts.
