Description
We are looking for a Data Visualisation & BI Reporting Engineer to support the delivery of data-driven insights through the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and visualisations.
The successful candidate will work as part of a wider data and reporting team to help transform complex data into clear and meaningful information, enabling stakeholders to make informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of comprehensive reports and dashboards utilising best practices in data visualisation principles and design aesthetics to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Design, development, and implementation of automated report generation processes and visualisation methodologies for improved efficiency and timeliness.
- Identification and analysis of business requirements to define report content and format.
- Maintenance and updating of existing reports and dashboards to reflect changing business needs.
- Development of robust processes & controls for collating input data, performing exploratory data analysis & data cleansing.
Requirements:
- Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI.
- A good understanding of data structures, relationships, and data modelling concepts.
- Experience supporting Tableau Server or Power BI environments.
- The ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into clear and effective reporting solutions.
- Experience working collaboratively with business stakeholders, analysts, engineers, and product teams.
Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of SQL and experience querying relational databases.
- Exposure to Python, PySpark, or data analytics techniques.
- Experience using SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO) or other reporting tools.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain data and reporting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
