Description
Humana is seeking a Data Engineer 2 to join its team and help make a difference in achieving the best health for its members.
The Data Engineer 2 will ingest data from internal and external sources using cloud-native platforms and software development best practices. They will develop software tools that leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big-data techniques to cleanse, organize, and transform data into insights and actions that enable Humana to better serve its members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of technical experience
- 5 years of experience with Databricks, Spark, and Scala
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database models
- Experience designing, developing, and testing software applications and/or infrastructure
- Experience with APIs to expose large datasets to applications and data analytics solutions
- Experience with Azure Cloud: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Pipelines, Azure Synapse Analytics (ASA), and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Experience with development, release, and support of data processing pipelines
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Terraform
The compensation range for this role is $97,900 - $133,500 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
