Bilingual Operations Associate, Risk

Float is looking for a Bilingual Operations Associate to join the Approvals function of its Compliance & Risk team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the customer journey in a non-traditional, fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will manage initial communication with customers, collect required documentation to determine their compliance, and act as one of the final decision-makers in approving new Float customers onto the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Execute all aspects of initial customer onboarding while maintaining swift service level agreements (SLAs)
• Work with prospective customers to acquire necessary information and documentation for onboarding and compliance verification
• Process prospective customers' KYB + KYC applications to ensure compliance with Float's services
• Collaborate with other Float teams to ensure Float's own compliance with industry regulations and service standards
• Track and analyze core metrics related to the customer approvals function

Requirements:

• Fluency in both English and French
• At least one year of experience in an operations or customer-facing role in the financial services industry
• Previous knowledge of and/or experience with KYB + KYC is highly preferred
• Experience with B2B SaaS and/or an early to mid-stage startup environment is an asset
• Spectacular attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
