Job Summary
As an Automation Engineer Associate Analyst at Cigna Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of test planning and execution activities for new or modified applications/systems across multiple platforms.
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- Deliver the QE Automation roadmap for each team
- Build and maintain automation for critical and complex business applications
- Create test automation for in-sprint and regression testing
- Execute automation scripts and report bugs
- Determine priority for test cases and create effective execution plans with maximum coverage
- Participate in PI and Sprint planning and Agile ceremonies
- Track and report automation progress as per the plan
- Develop skills in new automation tools to improve automation penetration
- Contribute towards implementation of new ideas and solutions
- Adhere to the organization's Quality Engineering best practices and drive changes to achieve more efficiency
- Identify and support Automation and DevOps opportunities
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 2-5 years of experience in a system quality environment
- Experience in QE - Test Automation, ETL automation tools, and Java/Python scripting
- Knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, and backend testing
- Familiarity with automation testing tools and methodologies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- ISTQB Foundation or Intermediate Certification
- Experience in mainframe, DB, and web testing
- Test Automation using Python programming knowledge
- ETL tool knowledge like SSIS
