ASIC Principal Design Engineer

We are seeking an ASIC Principal Design Engineer to join our team at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. As a global edge-to-cloud company, we advance the way people live and work by helping companies connect, protect, analyze, and act on their data and applications.

You will design, analyze, develop, modify, and evaluate VLSI components and hardware systems. You will determine architecture and logic design, design verification through software developed for component and system simulation, and build physical implementations through development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits.

Your contributions will have a visible technical impact on a product or major subcomponent. You will apply in-depth professional knowledge and innovative ideas to solve complex problems. You will provide technical leadership for significant project/program work and lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing organization-wide architectures and methodologies for VLSI design and development across multiple platforms and organizations
• Being recognized as an authority in key VLSI technical areas and playing a crucial role in defining industry standards
• Reviewing and evaluating VLSI designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards
• Providing technical leadership and accountability for multiple project teams and engineers
• Guiding and mentoring less experienced staff members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Typically 10+ years of experience in VLSI design, verification, or implementation
