We're seeking a Customer Team Member to join our team at Co-op, located on Market Street, Carnforth, LA5 9JU. As a Customer Team Member, you'll play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of the store, and supporting the local community.
Job Details:
- Location: Market Street, Carnforth, LA5 9JU
- Pay: £13.04 per hour
- Contract: 18 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part-time
- Working pattern: Opening shifts, early morning starts through to early afternoon, including at least 1 weekend shift
Responsibilities:
- Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to customers
- Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly
- Operate hands-on on the shop floor, tills, and in-store bakery
- Maintain store performance by keeping shelves stocked and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy
- Ensure the store is safe and legal
- Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service
- Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team
- Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential)
