Description
We are seeking a Dashboard Developer to support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) at GDIT. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards that provide meaningful insights, highlighting fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) detected in the Medicare and Medicaid programs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and managers to collect requirements and convert them into visualizations
- Convert raw data into compelling dashboards that enable efficient decision making
- Maintain and update existing dashboards as needed and train end users on how best to interact with them
- Perform quality checks on visualizations for data accuracy
- Present monthly visualizations at large meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Science with at least 2+ years of related experience
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid programs
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or Tableau (or similar dashboard platforms)
- Working knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and experience working with large datasets
- Ability to create data visualizations to present complex analyses and illustrate trends
- Knowledge of best practices for dashboard design, including accessibility and usability standards
- Familiarity with R or Python
- Familiarity with HTML and JavaScript
- Ability to obtain a Public trust and must have lived in the US for 3 of the past 5 years
