Description
As a Plant Engineering Supervisor at 3M, you will supervise and manage all functions of the maintenance departments involved in the production of 3M products.
You will provide supervision and technical direction to Plant Engineering personnel for performance of maintenance tasks on machines, systems, and facilities to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling, assigning, and directing personnel in performance of tasks for maintenance of equipment and facilities
- Providing technical direction to personnel and assisting in diagnosing equipment problems as required
- Identifying and supporting business efforts to drive improvement in equipment reliability
- Promoting a safe and sustainable working environment through modeling safe behaviors and recognizing and resolving safety-related problems
- Representing plant leadership team through supporting initiatives across the plant
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and eight years of manufacturing and/or maintenance experience
- OR Associate’s degree in an Industrial Maintenance technical field and four years of plant maintenance and/or manufacturing experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution and four years of manufacturing and/or maintenance experience
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Previous supervisory and/or management experience
- Experience with participating in daily tier management process and participating in improvement projects (kaizens)
The expected compensation range for this position is $109,202 - $133,469, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay.
