Senior Associate

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Corporate and Institutional Banking team. The successful candidate will provide support to Relationship Managers (RMs) to optimize the potential value of client relationships, improve client engagement, and deliver needs-based solutions and fair outcomes for customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing support to RMs to enable them to optimize client relationships
• Enabling proactive client management by attending client meetings and acting as the first point of contact for customers
• Preparing analysis, proposals, and presentations to prospective customers
• Supporting RMs on day-to-day activities, including client planning and pipeline management
• Undertaking financial, credit, and profitability analysis
• Collaborating with Group colleagues to deliver needs-based solutions for customers
• Providing ongoing risk monitoring and acting as an escalation point for risk issues
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell group products and services
• Monitoring client portfolios to ensure returns are commensurate with risk profiles

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in corporate banking with international banking needs
• A track record in successfully operating high-performing sales teams
• Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services
• Strong understanding of corporate banking products and solutions
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent understanding of assessing financial risks through customer due diligence and KYC
• Licensed Registered Representative, FINRA Series 79, 63, and SIE
• Credit assessment skills and portfolio-based credit monitoring experience
