Description
WSP is currently seeking a Construction Materials Testing Lab Technician to support a long-term construction project near Kemmerer, Wyoming. There is a per diem associated with this role.
Your Impact
- Perform lab classification and index property testing of soils
- Conduct density testing of soils
- Sample and test concrete in the field and lab
- Analyse testing data for accuracy and reasonableness
- Monitor work procedures for compliance with project specifications
Who You Are
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 5+ years of related experience on complex projects preferred
- Certifications may include ICC soils, ACI concrete, ICC concrete reinforcing steel, and ICC masonry
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Reliable with ability to arrive at project sites on time
- Ability to prepare reports and documentation
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
- Ability to work in variable outside conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass drug test, physical, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record
