Description
RBC Capital Markets is seeking an Investment Associate to support the Renewable Energy Tax Credit (RETC) originations platform. The successful candidate will provide business approval and credit support for RETC transactions, including identifying and managing risk, financial modeling and analysis, and due diligence of investment opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide business approval and credit support for RETC transactions
- Conduct financial modeling and analysis throughout the life cycle of RETC transactions
- Perform due diligence of investment opportunities, including KYC procedures and reviewing tax equity documents
- Support management and negotiation of transactions through the Closing Date and final-true up / stabilization
- Provide oversight of transactions by analyzing performance data on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing Sponsors and others in the RETC industry
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Renewable energy project finance experience and excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS-Office applications
