Description
Join WSP's Resources division as an Instrumentation and Control Engineer. You'll work on industrial and mining projects, contributing to the planning and execution of new infrastructure construction and modifications to existing facilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining project needs with internal and external stakeholders
- Presenting technical information and study results clearly
- Producing quantity surveys and preparing reliable budget estimates
- Verifying and preparing tender documents, quotes, and technical documents
- Supervising and mentoring technicians and drafters assigned to projects
- Supporting project managers in executing mandates
- Participating in designing plans, quotes, and details for industrial, mining, institutional, or electrical engineering projects
- Contributing to the overall success of projects and sustainable solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical systems design, instrumentation, and control in institutional, industrial, or mining environments
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Quebec
- ASP Construction card and availability for occasional travel
- Experience in consulting engineering (desirable)
- Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong French language skills (written and verbal)

Salary range: $89,200 - $118,500 per year
