Case Manager in Training

We're looking for a Case Manager in Training to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a Case Manager in Training, you will work as a floater in our office, training and supporting several attorneys and case staff on rotation. This position is an opportunity to train for an eventual move to a highly sought Case Manager position.

Responsibilities

• Make initial calls to clients after signing to obtain relevant information to open their files
• Accept inbound calls and place outbound calls to clients as needed
• Request coverage follow-up to the coverage team
• Transfer cases to Case Managers once files are opened
• Create new files and enter pertinent information into case management software
• Enter new roles in the system
• Request police reports
• Mail HIPAA forms to clients
• Email client welcome packets to clients or mail if no email is on file
• Document all activity in the system
• Add all insurance information and police report numbers into the file
• Request all documents from clients needed for their files
• Upload necessary documents to clients' files

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; college is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Adaptable in an ever-changing environment and able to handle multiple priorities
• Excellent oral communication with an outgoing personality
• Able to multitask and learn quickly
• Must thrive in a team environment
• Reliable and dependable
• Excellent comprehension and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to type at least 35 WPM with excellent writing skills while navigating through multiple software applications
