Description
Electronic Arts seeks an experienced Producer to lead the dedicated Live Team for EA SPORTS NHL, driving the development, live operations, and evolution of core online modes: World of Chel (WoC) and Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT).
The Producer will report to the Lead Producer and serve as the production leader for the Live vertical, guiding multidisciplinary teams across Design, Engineering, Art, UI/UX, Product Management, Live Content, and Quality Verification.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the end-to-end production lifecycle for WoC and HUT
- Partnering with Creative Directors, Game Designers, and Technical Leads to translate product vision into prioritized backlogs and manageable sprint roadmaps
- Managing scope across online mode features and mitigating risks
- Overseeing the execution of online systems, including progression frameworks and matchmaking/lobby flows
- Directing the live service release train and orchestrating seasonal campaigns and content drops
- Maintaining and optimizing live-ops deployment pipelines
- Overseeing live incident triage and rapid-response workflows
- Partnering with the Community team to monitor and integrate community sentiment and feedback
- Fostering a healthy, inclusive, and high-performing team environment
The ideal candidate has 7+ years of video game production experience, with at least 2+ years dedicated to online multiplayer modes or live services, and a proven track record of shipping online features and running post-launch live operations.
