Description
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Supply Chain: Supplier Onboarding Lead to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the onboarding process for manufacturing partners, ensuring alignment with HPE's global supply chain strategies and quality standards.
The role is part of a fast-moving, multi-year transformation, and the team will stabilize near-term operations, migrate core platforms, onboard businesses and suppliers globally, and build new capabilities from the ground up.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the onboarding process for manufacturing partners
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and facilitate onboarding
- Managing end-to-end integration setup, focusing on enabling B2B transactions via EDI, XML, APIs, and other industry standards
- Gathering and documenting business requirements for B2B transactions
- Ensuring integrations align with SAP S/4HANA business processes and approved integration architecture
- Deploying and overseeing agentic AI systems that autonomously manage supplier assessments and issue resolution
- Developing comprehensive onboarding documentation and process workflows
- Ensuring compliance with HPE's security, data privacy, and operational policies
- Driving continuous improvement in onboarding processes
- Acting as a subject matter expert on supply chain and manufacturing technology
- Monitoring onboarding progress, resolving issues proactively, and reporting on key metrics
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, procurement, or manufacturing within the high-tech industry
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Minimum 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing B2B integration solutions
- Experience with EDI standards, XML-based B2B protocols, and integration technologies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
