Description
WSP is currently seeking a full-time Vice President/Connecticut Licensed Environmental Professional to support its environmental operations in Shelton and Glastonbury, CT offices.
The successful candidate will own growth, pipeline, profitability, technical standards, and organisational capability while leading complex projects and senior client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading complex environmental projects and multidisciplinary delivery
- Developing and expanding a high-level client base
- Serving as a senior external representative with clients, agencies, subcontractors, industry groups, and community or government entities
- Ensuring regulatory compliance, technical quality, certifications, and discipline standards
- Providing leadership and performance guidance to assigned staff
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, environmental engineering, or a related life sciences field
- 12+ years of environmental consulting experience
- Strong command of environmental laws, regulations, compliance practices, and their business impact
- Executive-level leadership, influence, analytical judgment, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to business needs, varied schedules, and occasional travel

The expected salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000.
