Key Responsibilities and Impact As an AI & Automation Practitioner (AAP27) apprentice, you will:
- Gain hands-on experience designing, developing and implementing AI and automation solutions that improve processes, enhance efficiency and support innovation across the BBC.
- Develop your understanding of how emerging technologies, automation tools and artificial intelligence can be applied to solve business challenges and create value for teams and audiences.
- Build technical and analytical skills by working with data, identifying opportunities for automation, testing solutions and measuring their impact on business performance.
- Explore how technology, organisational strategy, data, people and processes work together and learn how AI and automation can drive digital transformation across a complex and dynamic organisation.

Eligibility Criteria To be eligible for an apprenticeship at the BBC, you must:
- Be 18 years old or over by the time the apprenticeship begins in September 2027.
- Have lived in the UK continuously for the last three years prior to the start of the apprenticeship.
- Be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the entire duration of the apprenticeship.
- Not currently be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme, whether with the BBC or another organisation.
- Not have completed or hold qualifications in the apprenticeship subject at the same or higher level.
- Identify as disabled under the Equality Act (2010).
