An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Croydon Council's Performance, Programmes and Risk Service as a fixed-term Business Intelligence Developer supporting Children's Social Care.
The role involves designing and developing innovative BI solutions that transform complex data into meaningful insight, helping services understand demand, performance, outcomes and risk.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering BI and data solutions using Microsoft technologies
- Developing strong Power BI skills, including dashboards, visualisation and self-service reporting
- Working with SQL, data modelling and relational databases
- Translating business requirements into effective technical solutions
- Developing impactful reports and dashboards that support decision-making
- Working with complex datasets from multiple systems and sources
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience delivering BI and data solutions using Microsoft technologies
- Strong Power BI skills
- Experience of SQL, data modelling and relational databases
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work with complex datasets
- Experience in local government or Children's Social Care is desirable but not essential

Salary: £51,738 - £53,919 per year
