Description
The Public Health team is looking for an experienced Principal Analyst to lead our Intelligence function. This is a key senior, permanent role within the Public Health service. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can bring cutting-edge data science skills to work in a fast-paced environment with some of the greatest health and environmental challenges in London.
The successful candidate will lead work to generate actionable insight to support Public Health, the Council, and the wider Integrated Care System. Focusing on health and care issues, you will lead a team of analysts to assess need, understand service performance, and analyse complex data sets to identify public health trends and equity issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Intelligence function within the Public Health team
- Generating actionable insights to support Public Health, the Council, and the wider Integrated Care System
- Leading a team of analysts to assess need, understand service performance, and analyse complex data sets
- Providing leadership to Newham's Joint Strategic Needs Assessments processes
The salary for this role is £62,706 - £76,131 per annum.
