Priory Hospital Solihull has an opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC Registration to join our team on our Rehabilitation and Recovery ward.
Working a mixture of Days/nights/weekdays and bank holidays, you will be part of a compassionate team that is committed to supporting people's wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering safe, person-centred nursing care to a defined group of patients
- Assessing, planning, delivering and reviewing care
- Monitoring patients' conditions and responding appropriately to changes in their needs
- Maintaining accurate care plans and promoting patient choice
- Prioritising and delegating nursing duties
- Acting as nurse in charge when required
- Managing medicines safely
- Addressing concerns and complaints
- Maintaining a safe and supportive environment
The role also involves supporting newly qualified staff through preceptorship, participating in clinical supervision, reflective practice, meetings and ongoing professional development, while adhering to safeguarding requirements, the Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, NMC Code, and organisational policies and procedures.
