Description
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO. The successful candidate will work alongside our Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative activities for patients, with a focus on helping them exceed their functional goals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
- Establish strong relationships with each patient to help them achieve their functional goals
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital with physicians, case management, nurses, and others
Requirements
- Graduate of an ACOTE-approved occupational therapy assistant program
- Current or pending state licensure
- Basic Life Support certification
Shift Requirements
- 2 weekend day shifts per month
- 1 major holiday
- 1 minor holiday
Compensation
- Pay Range: $35.00-$40.00 an hour
