As a Duty Manager at Asda's Didcot Great Western Park location, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the supermarket store.

You will plan and execute all trading activity across multiple departments, ensuring the store is safe and legal for customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

Driving strategy into action: planning and executing trading activity, delivering availability standards, and key metrics.
Leading with impact: engaging and coaching the food hall leadership team and the rest of the team to deliver excellent shopfloor standards.
Being results-focused: leading the team with energy and pace to ensure shopfloor and promotional activity is delivered on time.
Talent development: listening with empathy, driving resilience, and encouraging ownership and passion for the business.

Requirements:

Experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor, or Manager in a grocery retail environment.
Operational knowledge across food and non-food departments.
Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership.
Good understanding of HR policies and processes.
Strong organisational skills and great customer service.
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
