Description
We are seeking an experienced Investment Banking Analyst to join our team in Sydney. As part of Investment Banking and Capital Markets, our Investment Banking division delivers a full suite of products and advisory services to clients including large-cap and mid-cap corporates, financial institutions, government agencies, and financial sponsors.
The successful candidate will support the execution of investment banking transactions across infrastructure, power, transport, data centres, and utilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting execution of investment banking transactions (including M&A and strategic advisory)
- Managing and mentoring analysts, leading workstreams, and ensuring high-quality outputs
- Supporting origination activities by identifying client opportunities and contributing to pitch development
- Overseeing valuation analysis, financial modelling, and due diligence processes
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in investment banking, infrastructure investing, or a corporate finance role
- Exposure to transaction execution and/or complex strategic, financing, or investment processes
- Strong commercial judgement and analytical capabilities
- Well-developed financial literacy, including experience with financial models and valuations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
