Description
We are seeking a Principal AI Engineer to lead and design AI systems across multiple SaaS solutions, defining technical standards and reusable patterns for reasoning, tool use, and coordinated action.
Responsibilities:
- Set the technical vision and reference architecture for agentic AI across applications
- Build and govern reusable platform components
- Develop and refine advanced prompting strategies for LLMs
- Drive cross-functional roadmaps and integration standards across business teams
- Establish and evolve evaluation frameworks for LLMs and agentic systems
- Be the go-to Subject Matter Expert (SME) and internal AI expert
- Identify, prioritize and execute AI use cases with clear business outcomes
- Coach and mentor other engineers on AI maturity
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership shipping agentic AI at scale across multiple products
- Expertise in Agentic AI Tech stack, primarily in Microsoft and Anthropic
- Advanced Python and Java expertise in production systems
- Extensive knowledge of enabling and maturing AI in a SaaS landscape
- Experience with relational databases and system and performance monitoring tools
Benefits:
- Base salary: $191,700 - $213,000 per year
