Description
Runnymede Hospital in Chertsey is seeking a Porter to join their team on a bank shift basis. The successful candidate will work on an 'as and when required' basis to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake general and ad hoc tasks such as patient, equipment, and goods movement
- Explain hospital facilities and services to patients and family members
- Provide a courteous service to internal and external customers
- Ensure patient comfort and dignity are maintained
- Provide security for the facility as required
- Comply with all relevant mandatory training
Requirements:
- Frontline customer-facing experience
- Previous portering experience in a healthcare, hotel, or hospitality setting is beneficial
- Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2
- Proficiency in using a PC, including software and systems
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.71 per hour
