Description
Cricut is seeking an Intellectual Property Paralegal to assist in protecting its growing intellectual property portfolio. As an Intellectual Property Paralegal, you will enforce IP rights, review agreements, and research cutting-edge topics supporting the Intellectual Property Legal Team.
Essential Functions:
- Protect the company's intellectual property
- Assist with patent and trademark searches
- Conduct online monitoring to uncover malfeasance
- Work in a fast-paced environment with positivity and professionalism
- Maintain patent, trademark, and copyright dockets
- File patent, trademark, and copyright applications and outgoing prosecution items with the USPTO and Copyright Office
- Oversee filings and projects to ensure timely completion
- Prepare slide decks on IP updates and legal issues
- Review and respond to correspondence from patent offices and foreign counsel
- Respond to Cricut member IP-related questions
- Perform legal research assignments
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of patents, copyrights, and trademarks
- Experience with foreign and domestic patent prosecution and maintenance
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Legal search methodologies and enforcement protocols
- Superior analytical and communication skills
