Description
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Cable Connector Engineer to work primarily from an HPE office.
As a Cable Connector Engineer, you will work with Mechanical, Electrical, and Signal Integrity engineers to design, develop, and qualify cable solutions for servers, storage, networking, and data centers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and qualifying cable solutions
- Consolidating cables and driving leverage across platforms
- Selecting cable and connector solutions that meet requirements
- Characterizing and adjusting interconnect performance under various stresses
- Proposing system interconnect strategies and selecting connectors
- Working with vendors to manage product specifications, development schedules, and deliverables
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5-15 years of experience in cable and connector design
- Knowledge of cable and connector technologies, manufacturing processes, and testing
- Good root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English and local language
