Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Technician/Senior Technician to join our growing Leeds office.
The role involves producing drawings and design models to support planning and technical applications and construction, while being active on several projects and client accounts at any given time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing detailed drawings and undertaking 3D modelling in AutoCAD/Civils 3D, or similar software.
- Managing the delivery of high-volume drawing production to company and industry standards.
- Working across the team in producing designs and drawings.
- Engaging effectively with co-professionals through good written and spoken communication skills.
- Seeking clarity of instructions, checking own work before submitting for approval, and agreeing to meet timescales for items of work.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An ONC/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or in training towards).
- Experience in highway, utilities, or drainage projects.
- Understanding of highway, utilities, and drainage design principles.
- Basic knowledge of BIM standards and protocols.
- Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC) through vetting.
